About
Hey there. I’m Elle -- a musician, writer, gamer, video creator, sci-fi fan, and coffeeholic who has put a bunch of music out into the world under the name Reina del Cid. Recently, I decided to start going by my actual name online and drop the moniker.
YouTube has been a great community for musicians like me over the years. It has allowed my songs to reach so many listeners without having to go through a middleman, like a traditional music label or commercial radio. The "Sunday Mornings" channel (on which I put out songs, often with guitarist extraordinaire Toni Lindgren) has over 100 million views now. Holy cow! I feel lucky that so many people from all over the world tune in each week to see what we’re posting. More recently, I began posting original music, poems, and rhymes to TikTok and Instagram, reaching an even wider audience, and I just started a new YouTube channel as a home for that sort of content, which is very close to my heart.
While these online communities have been the springboard for getting this whole thing started over a decade ago, it’s really the tight-knit cadre of patrons in our Patreon community that makes everything—our videos, albums, tours, everything!—possible. At the time of writing this, we have about 1,100 dedicated patrons who have special access to downloads, extra videos, behind the scenes, occasional private livestreams, and more, in exchange for a monthly donation to our music. We love our $1/month Cidizens as much as our $200/month Outlaws, and we’re grateful for their more intimate engagement in our music-making. Outlaws even get to request their own personal video of us covering the song of their own choosing. It’s a pretty special place, these 1,100 awesome folks really do make our creative world go round. Check out the tiers below.
Whew. Before this about section gets too long, let me just say, thanks for visiting this website and I hope you’ll stay in touch. I send roughly 1 email a month from my mailing list and it usually just gives you a heads up about an upcoming tour or new album, so feel free to join at this link if you want in on that. Otherwise, take off your digital coat and hat, have a look around!

Join us for livestream concerts
For me, the greatest joy of being a musician is the feeling of performing to an audience. This is why our tour schedule has been packed almost to the point of insanity over the last few years. I love playing music live for folks, meeting the people who watch our videos, and just having that real-time connection that you don't get from just uploading a YouTube video or releasing new music to stream.
During 2020 when live music venues (along with virtually everything else) shut down across the world, we started doing livestream concerts as a way to connect in real-time with our audience again. You can also view any of our previous live stream performances at the link below. We plan to continue doing livestreams going forward because there's something magical about being able to offer a concert experience for people to tune into from all over the world. Join us for the next one!
